Roadmap

The roadmap summarises planned customer-visible changes to Finsaku. It reflects the current product plan and is updated as work moves into a scheduled release.

Release 2.13

25 August 2026

Platform automation

The Finsaku MCP server will support controlled management of lending products, product versions, and object definitions. This extends the configuration work that authorised AI agents and MCP clients can perform.

Activity history

Activity history will use clearer descriptions and more consistent presentation across record history and dashboard activity.

Now

These areas contain active work but do not have a committed public release date.

Configurable workflows

Administrators will be able to configure contract workflows by tenant and lending product. They will also have more control over when application checks, decisions, and follow-up actions run.

Timezone support

Finsaku will handle tenant and user timezones across stored dates, business processing, and the user interface. This work covers how dates are interpreted as well as how they are displayed.

General ledger foundation

The platform will add the ledger foundation needed to record and inspect financial entries. Initial work covers ledger master data and posting. Finance teams remain responsible for configuring their accounts and reviewing and reconciling the resulting entries.

Next

These areas are defined in the product backlog but are not assigned to a public release.

AI assistant and MCP

The assistant is planned to show responses and agent activity as work happens, retain conversation history, and preserve useful context during longer conversations. Authorised agents will also be able to inspect and maintain saved queries through MCP.

General ledger operations

Planned ledger tools include posting and transaction APIs, permissions, navigation, and a back-office interface for manual bookings.

Later

These are candidate directions. Their scope can change before implementation starts.

Automated accounting

This work would create configurable ledger entries from loan lifecycle events. Candidate events include disbursement, repayment, accrued interest, fines, capitalisation, cession, and write-off. Finance teams will remain responsible for approving the posting rules and reconciling the entries against their accounting records.

Branding and theming

Planned white-label work will extend tenant-specific branding and theming across the platform.
