Servicing user learning path
Use this route if you maintain active loans, record money received, or investigate balances. It starts with the loan record and finishes with payment, schedule, and history checks.
- Plan
- About 75 minutes of reading and practice.
- Start with
- Access to an active test loan, its Payments action, schedule, allocation, and history.
- Finish when
- You can record one receipt once, account for its distribution, and investigate an unexpected balance.
Route
-
1
Read record statuses
Learn the application, loan, instalment, and allocation states used during servicing.
Check: Identify the current loan status and the statuses of its next relevant instalments.
-
2
Find and inspect a loan
Open the correct loan and review its borrower, product, current figures, schedule, payments, and related actions.
Check: Match the loan number and borrower before entering money or changing terms.
-
3
Service a loan and record a payment
Enter one incoming payment through Payments, review its preview, and save it with Add.
Check: Find one saved payment with the expected payer, amount, date, type, action, and order.
-
4
Account for allocation and schedule changes
Compare the payment summary, distribution outcomes, instalments, and current loan figures.
Check: Account for the full receipt across Allocated, Pending, Deposit, Penalty Deposit, or Overpayment.
-
5
Handle loan changes and closure
Learn which action records an agreed change and how termination differs from repayment or cancellation.
Check: State the expected resulting status before saving a test action.
-
6
Use history during reconciliation
Trace the recorded payment or action to its actor, time, changes, and related records.
Check: Distinguish a Finsaku history entry from evidence that an external provider completed its work.
Role boundary
Do not add another payment while an integrated provider callback may still arrive. Compare the provider transaction, Finsaku payment list, history, and allocation first.
Deleting a payment or invoice line recalculates the loan and can change later balances. Use the organisation's correction procedure and the required permission; otherwise preserve the evidence and hand the case to an authorised servicing user.
